NEW HEALTH POST, for 2022.  Designed by Lubrano/Ciavarra Architects, this sustainable building will offer a full range of services to a remote and marginalized community. 

The design seeks to provide a SAFE PLACE FOR WOMEN TO GIVE BIRTH while also giving A VOICE TO MENTAL HEALTH and establishing its importance as equal to physical health. Its petal-like breathable roof is inspired by the rhododendron, Nepal’s national flower, for its dignity, beauty, and positivity.

Kids of Kathmandu will be producing this project with a Nepali-led initiative. We are partnering with a wide range of international experts to ensure an exceptional resource for this community.
